MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Minister for Information Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah, has said that tribalism is a disease and no one can take away the identity and honour that Allah has given.
He said that Islam strictly prohibits tribalism, linguistic, regional, or provincial bias.
He said that Pakistan is a blessing from Allah, and the center of hope for the Muslim Ummah. The development and progress of Azad Kashmir are credited to Pakistan, which has always shown generosity in providing funds to Kashmiris, even at the cost of its own resources.
The Minister was talking to a delegation from Balochistan at the PID Complex in Muzaffarabad. He informed the delegation about the history, culture, and natural beauty of Azad Kashmir, which attracts millions of tourists every year.
Hospitality of AJK people
The Minister said that the people of Azad Kashmir are hospitable and the region has great potential for tourism.
The Minister also highlighted the importance of the Press Foundation, which is an exemplary institution for media personnel in Azad Kashmir, headed by a High Court judge. He said that the media of Azad Kashmir is playing a vital role in the Kashmir freedom movement.
The Minister emphasized that the people of Kashmir are Pakistani by choice and have been struggling against India’s occupation of Kashmir for over seven decades.
He said that Kashmiris will continue their struggle until they achieve their goal of joining Pakistan.
