LONDON (Kashmir English): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in London on an official visit to the United Kingdom.
Ishaq Dar will stay in the United Kingdom from August 24 to 28, where he will meet with senior officials of the British government and heads of international organizations.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar is expected to meet British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, and he will also meet other senior officials of the British government.
In his meeting with the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization, Ishaq Dar will raise the issue of Pakistani crew members held hostage by Somali pirates.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar and the IMO Secretary-General will hold talks on regional maritime security.
Ishaq Dar will also meet Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Ivorcourt Bochway.
