ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed regional developments and ceasefire-related issues on Monday, the Iranian government said.
In a post on X, the government said two held a phone call to “discuss regional developments and ceasefire-related issues, exchanging views on ongoing coordination.”
Pakistan’s Foreign Office, in a separate post, said FM Senator Ishaq Dar spoke with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi.
During the phone talk, Ishaq Dar “emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and engagement” at the earliest to resolve all pending issues and to promote regional peace and stability.
“Both agreed to remain closely engaged,” it stated.
