ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a power outage at selected places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock and Chakwal on Tuesday to conduct routine maintenance and development activities.
According to a spokesperson for IESCO, the power supplier will stop supplying electricity from 6:00 am to 10:00 am at Islamabad Circle, which includes Scheme II, Rehara, Mohra Noor, Shehzad Town and Islamabad Club I feeders.
At Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, IESCO will disconnect power from 6:00 am to 10:00 am at Jarar Camp, Bhall, Jatha Hathial and Basali feeders. IESCO will also suspend electricity supply from 6:00 am to 10:00 am at Fawara Chowk feeder in Attock Circle and Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, CWO and Katchary feeders in Chakwal Circle.
At GSO Circle, IESCO will conduct maintenance from 6:30 am to 10:30 am at Neela, Hassal, Balkassar, Kot Chaudhrian, Pipli, Dullaha and Karsal feeders.
For GSO Circle, the IESCO will perform maintenance activities between 6:30 am and 10:30 am on Neela, Hassal, Balkassar, Kot Chaudhrian, Pipli, Dullaha and Karsal.
IESCO will also perform activities between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan Lines, and between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm on 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore Lines, as well as the associated earth switches and surrounding areas.
IEESCO regretted the temporary inconvenience and promised to restore electricity within the scheduled time if the maintenance is completed early.
