NEELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): Videos showing protests by the defunct Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) were reportedly displayed by the Indian Army at Keran Monument on the Indian side of the Line of Control (LoC) on August 14.
As per details, footage of JAAC protests was played on a large screen at the Keran Monument at around 6pm on Pakistan’s Independence Day.
The display has triggered strong criticism, with officials saying that the use of JAAC protest footage by Indian forces raises questions about the manner in which the demonstrations have been portrayed and used in the broader political narrative surrounding Kashmir.

“After watching these visuals, there is no doubt left that the Action Committee, by its meaningless protests, is only creating media content for its paymaster; India. Their heinous plot stands fully exposed,” experts said.
Seeing these visuals, users on social media from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Pakistan are spitting on both India and the prescribed Action Committee.
