SRINAGAR (Kashmir English): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the Hindutva Indian government of the Bharatiya Janata Party is using all brutal tactics to crush the emotions of Kashmiris and their peaceful struggle for settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar said the hegemonic ambitions of the Indian government and policies based on Hindutva ideology are a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.
He said the continuous killing of innocent Kashmiri youth in fake encounters and the illegal detention of thousands of Kashmiris in Indian jails, hundreds and thousands of miles away from their homes, expose the brutal face of the BJP government.
Brave Kashmiri people
Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas said India should remember that it can never demoralize the brave Kashmiri people through acts of oppression and tyranny and that they will continue their struggle at all costs until the martyrs’ mission is completed.
The spokesperson urged the international community to stop India from following the path of Nazi Germany and put pressure on it to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
