ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): An Indian-backed propaganda account on X, Bahott Baloch, has been permanently suspended.

The account had been known to spread misleading information related to Indian-sponsored militancy in Balochistan and anti-Pakistan propaganda, which has now been suspended.

The account was being used to spread misleading and inflammatory content against the state of Pakistan.

Bahott Baloch has been described by Pakistani authorities as a facilitator of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), also known as Fitna Al-Hindustan.

The Pakistani government has designated the BLA as a terrorist organization and has been accused of several violent acts against security forces and civilians across the country.

The account was used to promote BLA narratives and allegedly maintain online contacts with individuals associated with the organization.

Earlier in March this year, authorities permanently suspended a similar X account of the name ‘Bahot Baloch’, run by an Indian RAW officer, which used to disseminate anti-Pakistan army statements.

Pakistani authorities identified this account as the facilitator of a banned outfit, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), according to sources.

The security officials allege that Bahot Baloch played a role in supporting the BLA’s activities through his online activities.

There may have been facilitation activities that involved spreading militant messages and keeping in touch with people who were connected to the group.
