VALENCIA (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s young squash player Hamza Khan has qualified for the final of the Valencia Open Squash tournament in Spain.
In the semi-finals, Hamza defeated France’s Joshua Fenera. The Pakistani player came from a 1-2 deficit to win 2-3.
Hamza’s winning score in the 49-minute match was 10-12, 11-6, 5-11, 11-3, 11-5.
In the final, Hamza Khan will face top seed Iker Pires of Spain.
It is worth noting that the prize money for the Valencia Open Squash tournament in Spain is $15,000.

Hamza defeated France’s 7th seed Brice Nicholls 0-3 in the quarter-finals.
The Pakistani player won the 42-minute match with a score of 13-11, 11-2, 11-6.
On Wednesday, in his second-round match, Hamza decisively defeated Egypt’s third seed, Yassin Elshafei, with a commanding 3-0 victory. He clinched the match in just 29 minutes, with scores of 11-9, 11-3, and 11-8.
