GAZA (Kashmir English): The Palestinian resistance organization Hamas has rejected the resolution passed by the United Nations Security Council and the plan to deploy an international peacekeeping force under it.
According to Al Jazeera, a statement issued by Hamas said that the resolution does not meet the demands and rights of the Palestinian people.
The statement said that according to the resolution, control of Gaza will go under international supervision, which the Palestinian people and all resistance factions do not accept.
Hamas said that if the international force is given the authority to disarm the resistance factions inside Gaza, it means that this force will not remain neutral but will carry out operations in Palestine.
The resistance organization said that if an international force is created, it must be limited to the borders, which will only monitor the ceasefire, and this entire process should be under the supervision of the United Nations.
Hamas said that, in our opinion, Israel is an occupying state and all kinds of struggle against it are permissible. We will not lay down our arms.
Hamas has appealed to the international community and the Security Council to make decisions for Gaza that will lead to a complete end to the war and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
It should be noted that the Security Council has adopted a resolution in favor of President Trump’s Gaza peace plan.
Hamas had previously supported President Trump’s peace plan, under which Hamas and Israel released each other’s prisoners and exchanged bodies.
