ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government is set to implement the proposal to provide passport applications and processing facilities at NADRA registration centers so that citizens can get both CNIC and passport services under one roof.
In this regard, Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa visited NADRA headquarters, where he held an important meeting with NADRA Chairman Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar.
Consideration was given to installing modern passport processing modules at selected NADRA registration centers so that the services of both departments can be provided at one place.
A briefing was given on the procedure for including passport-related services in NADRA’s famous PakID mobile application.
Both the organizations agreed on a modern digital system, policy reforms and a mutual framework for data sharing to make service delivery faster, more transparent and easier.
The DG Immigration and Passports said that providing world-class facilities to citizens through the use of the latest technology and cooperation between institutions is among the government’s priorities.
Key requirements before applying for NADRA B-Form!
Parents have been advised to keep in mind a few steps before applying for a B-Form at the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to avoid unnecessary delays.
Before applying for a child’s B-Form at a NADRA office or through the Pak ID mobile app, parents must ensure that the Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) of both the mother and father are active and valid (not expired).
Husband and wife record at NADRA
Parents must also ensure that the personal data of both spouses is properly registered in the NADRA database.
This includes accurate records of personal information, parents names, and ID card numbers.
Marital status
The marital status of both a person and her spouse must be officially registered as “married” in the system.
Child registration at Union Council
The complete birth registration data of the child in the relevant Union Council (UC) must be entered beforehand.
Child’s physical presence
Children over three years of age must visit the NADRA centre in person for photograph capture and thumb impression recording.
