MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In light of international market flucuations the gold prices are continuously increasing in other cities of Pakistan, including Azad Kashmir.
According to the data of the Central Bullion Market Muzaffarabad, today, March 22, 2025, 24-carat gold is being sold for Rs 315,000 per tola, while the price of 10 grams of gold has reached Rs 270,060. 22-carat gold per tola is available for Rs 305,200, while the price of 10 grams has been fixed at Rs 261,660.
Gold prices varied in different cities of Pakistan, where the price of 24-karat gold in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad and Multan was recorded at Rs 319,350, while in Rawalpindi, Quetta, Hyderabad, Sialkot, Jhelum, Chakwal, D.G. Khan and Muzaffarabad it was recorded at Rs 319,200.
On the other hand, in Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Kasur, Attock, Khanewal, Chiniot, Hafizabad, Sukkur, and Gilgit it was Rs 319,250 per tola and in other cities including Jhang, Skardu it was Rs 319,100 per tola.
On the other hand, no change was seen in the price of silver and it remained stable at Rs 3,200 per tola.
The price of gold has also seen an increase in the international market, where 24-karat gold is being sold for $2,336 per ounce.
