KARACHI (Kashmir English): The gold prices have increased sharply across Pakistan following an upward trend in international bullion rates on Saturday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,187, bringing the new rate to Rs431,323 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs989, settling at Rs368,074.
In the international market, gold prices also moved upward, increasing by $11.87 per ounce to reach $4,088 per ounce, contributing to the hike in local prices.
