PANJGUR (Kashmir English): Security forces have neutralized five terrorists belonging to Fitna Al Hindustan during a high-tempo, intelligence-driven operation in the Panjgur district of Balochistan on August 10, the military’s media wing said.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was executed as part of a relentless, ongoing counter-terrorism campaign dedicated to eliminating Indian-sponsored proxies and restoring enduring peace in the region.
In addition, the security forces said that operational teams recovered and destroyed a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) on site, followed immediately by “sanitization operations to clear any remaining threats in the area.”
“The relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm e Istehkam” by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” ISPR added.
Earlier, security sources said that forces have carried out a heavy artillery strike on a suspected terrorist hideout near Sasool Guest House in Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitnah 3.
According to the sources, the sudden and effective artillery attack caused confusion, fear, and panic among the Khawarij ranks.
“Radio wireless communication and voice recording (Chatter) have revealed that, due to this severe confusion, the Khawarij opened fire on each other,” sources said. “Security forces are continuously monitoring the situation after the incident.”
Security forces are determined to continue their operations without interruption until the complete elimination of terrorism from the country and the establishment of lasting peace, sources stated.
