RAWAT (Kashmir English): A massive fire broke out in the bazaar near the bus stand in Rawat on Thursday night, engulfing several stalls and shops.
According to rescue officials, the blaze erupted in a vegetable market and landa bazaar and spread rapidly due to strong winds, making firefighting operations difficult.
Several makeshift stalls and shops were completely burnt to ashes as thick clouds of smoke spread across the surrounding area.

Fire brigade teams reached the scene shortly after the incident was reported and launched efforts to bring the fire under control. Two fire brigade vehicles have arrived at the scene, officials said.
The district administration said that firefighters are continuing their efforts to control the fire, and the blaze will be brought under control soon.
No casualties or injuries have been reported so far, while the reasons for the fire could not be ascertained.
