Field Marshal Munir visits Germany, meets with US Secretary of State

MUNICH (Kashmir English): Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Germany where he participated in the 62nd Security Conference held in Munich.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, on the sidelines of the conference, the Field Marshal met with various global leaders and senior officials.

During these meetings, detailed discussions were held on important issues such as regional security, global peace, and cooperation against terrorism.

The ISPR statement mentioned that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also met with the US Secretary of State and other high-ranking US officials.

During this time, an agreement was reached to further enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of counter-terrorism.

During the visit, the Field Marshal also held separate meetings with the German Interior Minister, Foreign Affairs Advisor, and Chief of Defence.

These meetings discussed defence cooperation, professional exchanges, and the promotion of peace and stability in the region.

Field Marshal meets with Brazilian Chief of Joint Staff

Furthermore, the Field Marshal also met with the Brazilian Chief of Joint Staff and the Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, where detailed discussions were held on promoting defence relations and the regional security situation.

According to ISPR, this visit is being considered an important step towards highlighting Pakistan’s stance on the global stage and strengthening bilateral defence and security cooperation.
