HAVELI KAHUTA (Kashmir English): Federal Minister for Affairs Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Ameer Muqam, led a large-scale Marka-e-Haq (Battle for Truth) rally in Haveli Kahuta, showing strong solidarity with the people living near the Line of Control (LoC).

The Marka-e-Haq rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from workers of various political parties, traders’ associations, lawyers, civil society members, and journalists.

The crowd passionately chanted slogans in support of Pakistan, the Pakistan Army, Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir.

Addressing the Marka-e-Haq rally, Ameer Muqam said he had come to visit the LoC population on the special instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

He described the Pakistan Army as the proud guardians of the country’s borders, emphasising that 250 million Pakistanis stand shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces.

He praised the people living along the LoC as frontline defenders of the nation who stand firm with the military in safeguarding Pakistan.

Muqam conveyed the Prime Minister’s heartfelt condolences to the families of those who were martyred due to recent Indian shelling.

As part of the government’s support plan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a financial package of Rs10 million for the families of martyrs and Rs2 million for those injured.

Damaged homes in the Marka-e-Haq rally region will also receive financial assistance, and all injured individuals will be treated free of cost.

Muqam strongly praised the role of the Pakistan Army on the international stage, stating that their bravery and performance have made the nation proud globally.

He expressed particular admiration for Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, calling him a courageous leader who commands deep respect across the nation.

He reaffirmed that both the people of Pakistan and the people of Kashmir stand firmly behind their armed forces during these challenging times. The Marka-e-Haq rally sent a clear message of unity and resilience from the border regions to the rest of the country.
