MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has urged the global community to play its vibrant role to stop bloodshed and reign of state terrorism unleashed by Indian occupational forces against innocent Kashmiris in the Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The AJK President was talking to former AJK Prime Minister and President Istehkam e Pakistan Party AJK chapter, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan who called on him at Jammu and Kashmir House in the federal metropolis.
During the meeting, both the leaders discussed, in detail, the issues of mutual interest with particular focus on prevailing political and human rights situation in occupied Kashmir.
Both the leaders expressed their concern over India’s relentless repression of political and human rights.
Both welcome President Trump’s mediation offer
Welcoming the US President Donald Trump’s mediation offer, they stressed the need for Inclusion of Kashmiri leadership in the dialogue process to find out a durable solution to the long running Kashmir dispute.
They, however, maintained that implementation of the UNSC resolutions on Kashmir was the most feasible solution to the long-drawn conflict, according to the AJK President office.
