ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): A strong 5.7 magnitude earthquake tremors have been felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, and the surrounding areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The strong earthquake created a state of panic in the people; they came out of their homes and offices reciting Kalmah, fortunately no reports of any loss of life or property so far.
The earthquake occurred at 10:39 am, and tremors were also felt in Chitral and Dir. According to the Earthquake Monitoring Center, the epicenter was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
