PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): Earthquake tremors were felt in Swat district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and its surrounding districts on Sunday night.
According to initial reports, tremors were also observed in the areas of Bajaur, Mardan, Malakand, Mohmand, and Charsadda.
Earthquake of magnitude 3.6
According to the seismological center, the earthquake’s intensity was recorded at 3.6, and its depth was 10 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in Afghanistan.
Tremors were also felt in various parts of Afghanistan. According to the German Geophysical Research Center, an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 was recorded in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
According to reports, the earthquake’s intensity ranged from slight to moderate, and no casualties or financial losses were reported so far.
Local people came out of their homes as fear and panic hit them. It should be noted that 20 people were killed in an earthquake in Afghanistan on September 1, and tremors were also felt in the districts of KP.
