MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): An earthquake of estimated 5.4 magnitude shook Azad Kashmir, Rawalpindi/Islamabad and other parts of Pakistan on Sunday night.
The earthquake tremors were felt at 12:17pm that also jolted parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Citizens, in fear, recited the Kalima and rushed out of their homes.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located 23 kilometres from Afghanistan.
The affected countries include Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and India. There are no immediate reports of loss of life and property.
