HAVELI, AJK (Kashmir English): Deputy Commissioner Haveli has warned public of landslides and road disruptions as heavy rain continues in the area.
In a public message, Deputy Commissioner Haveli, Raja Umar Tariq, said public should avoid unnecessary travel as rain with thunder and lightning has been ongoing since last night, leading to a risk of landslides.
He appealed to the public to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rain and ensure their safety.
The Meteorological Department has forecast rain until April 10, so the public in the Haveli area has been advised to avoid unnecessary travel.
Haveli transporters cautioned
“Transporters should not use the Toli Pir Road, and all types of travel are prohibited after sunset in case of rain.”
All arrangements have been made by the administration for the safety of the public’s lives and property.
