ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): A delegation of local government representatives and workers from Union Council Farang Bhimber Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday called on Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq.
Talking to the visiting delegation, the Prime Minister said that the coalition government was utilising all resources to ensure provision of funds and timely completion of development projects.
He told the delegation that the government believes in fair distribution of funds and uniform development all across AJK.
PM on education
The PM further stated that besides improving the education and health sectors, the government also adopted austerity measures that helped save billions of rupees.
Haq further said that steps have been taken to expand the tax net and make the tax collection system more effective.
He said that the establishment of Danish School in Bhimber was a great achievement that, he added, would hugely benefit the new generation of the area.
Similarly, the PM said, the establishment of Bhimber University, improved road infrastructure and completion of electricity projects in the district will certainly provide a great relief to the people of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, the visiting delegation appreciated the Prime Minister’s vision for prosperous, self-reliant and a welfare state.
The delegation comprised of Raja Faheem Akhtar, Raja Muhammad Shahzad Aslam, Raja Munaf, Raja Irshad, Raja Muhammad Aslam, Raja Muhammad Azam, Akhtar Jamil, Raja Muhammad Khalid, Muhammad Arif, Waheed Aslam, Muhammad Khurshid and Muhammad Rizwan Jani and others.
