During the meeting, Maulana Mahmoodul Hassan presented the resolution, which strongly condemned the unprovoked firing and shelling by the Indian occupyied forces on the Line of Control. The resolution further stated that in the opinion of the council, the extremist leadership in India, through such inhuman, immoral, and low tactics, can not crush the movement of the Kashmiris fighting for their freedom and right to self-determination.

The resolution called on the United Nations, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and other human rights organizations to take strict notice of the ceasefire violation at LoC and urged them to play their positive and effective role in ensuring the right to self-determination of the Kashmiris in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations.

Furthermore, another resolution presented by Maulana Muhammad Altaf Saifi stated that this meeting expresses deep sorrow, grief, and regret over the increasing tragic incidents of terrorism by the Fitnat-ul-Kharijites in the country.

“Terrorism and elements taking up arms against the state are not only in clear violation of Islamic teachings but are also enemies of the peace, unity, and stability of the country,” it added.

The resolution stated that this meeting of the CII reiterates the determination that the entire nation is standing with the Pakistan Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and the government.
