MIRPUR: A child’s body was found in the storeroom of a Madrasa in Mirpur’s Sector Singhot area, police said.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khawar Ali said that the reason for the child’s death will be revealed after the postmortem report.
On the other hand, the madrassa administration claimed that the child had gone to sleep after Fajr’s prayers and did not come to class until 11 am. Her missing led the Madrassa administration to start searching for him.
Upon searching, the child’s body was found under the beds in the storeroom. The child’s father said that the deceased left the madrasa on Friday and was informed of his death today.
