MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Eight-year-old Haider Ali, who was injured in a tragic firing incident at a wedding ceremony on Plate Qila Road in Muzaffarabad, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.
This heartbreaking incident has not only plunged the affected family into deep sorrow but has also created an atmosphere of fear, panic, and grief in the area.
According to details, a joyous wedding ceremony turned into mourning when unknown individuals resorted to aerial firing. Young Haider Ali son of Malik Majid was severely injured by the shots and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
Medical staff made every possible effort to save him, but he could not bear the severity of his injuries and passed away. After the incident, there is intense grief and anger in the area.

Local residents have expressed deep sorrow over this tragic incident and demanded that the excessive use of weapons and the trend of aerial firing at weddings and other ceremonies be strictly curbed to prevent such tragedies in the future.
