ALBERTA, Canada (Kashmir English): A university in Canada has set a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as dinosaurs on the occasion of its 60th anniversary.
The University of Calgary in Alberta, whose sports teams are known as the Dinos, celebrated the event outside the Taylor Family Digital Library, featuring hundreds of participants wearing dinosaur costumes.

A total of 682 people got together in the event, officially breaking the record for the largest group of people dressed as dinosaurs. The achievement was recognized on-site by a Guinness World Records adjudicator.
Previously, Cox Science Center and Aquarium in Florida held the record, where 468 individuals gathered in dinosaur costumes.
The celebration turned the milestone anniversary into a record-breaking event.
