ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Azad Kashmir Parliamentary Party leaders have arrived at Zardari House, Islamabad, for a crucial meeting, which will be chaired by party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
As per the sources, the meeting will discuss the evolving political situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and will finalise its strategy for forming a new government in the state.
PPP supremo Asif Ali Zardari and the party’s In-charge of Kashmir Affairs, Faryal Talpur, are also expected to attend the parliamentary party meeting.
Prominent leaders, including former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Qamar Zaman Kaira, have already reached Zardari House. Speaker AJK Assembly Chaudhry Latif Akbar, and President PPP AJK Chaudhry Yasin will also attend the meeting.
Senior party members from Azad Kashmir, including Mian Abdul Waheed, Sardar Javed Ayub, Javed Budhanori, Bazal Naqvi, Sardar Yaqub Khan, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, Sardar Qamar-uz-Zaman, Rafiq Nayyar, and Nabila Ayub, have also arrived.
While speaking to the media before the session, Sardar Yaqub Khan and Sardar Tanveer Ilyas said that the numbers are complete, and now the leadership has to decide.
