COLOMBO (Kashmir English): Pakistan star batter and former skipper Babar Azam said the match between Pakistan and India is always very intense, a day before the much-anticipated Pakistan vs India clash at the T20 World Cup 2026.
The high-voltage match will be played in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
The Sri Lankan Meteorological Department has also predicted rain in Colombo for the match between Pakistan and India; however, cricket fans are hopeful that they will see a good match on Sunday.
“Not only the people of both countries but the whole world’s eyes are on this match, due to which the match goes to a different level, and expectations from the players also increase,” he said in an interview with ESPNcricinfo.

Babar Azam said that I have been a part of many such matches, and I have learned that the more you keep yourself cool, comfortable, and focus on the match instead of paying attention to outside noises, the better you will be able to perform.
Continuing his remarks, he said that, of course, there is excitement in this match, but the more tension-free the players keep themselves, the better it is for them.
