MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Weather Update for Wednesday, February 12, 2025. The Azad Kashmir weather is expected to be sunny, partly cloudy during the day, and mostly clear at night.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the following is the weather forecast following the synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and may persist during the next 24 – 36 hours. Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, partly cloudy weather with light rain or light snowfall is likely at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Previously, the weather in AJK was mostly mostly cloudy and hazy with steady light rains.

Due to the rain in the capital yesterday, the weather is pleasant. It is partly cloudy and hazy with a high of 67F. The winds are WSW, at a speed of 5 to 10 mph. For the night clear skies with a low of 38F, and light and variable winds can be expected.
Neelum Valley:
The Neelum Valley faces mostly cloudy skies with expected afternoon snow showers. A high of 39F is observed, and the winds are light and variable. The chance of snow is at 40 per cent. For the night, partly cloudy weather can be expected, with a low of around 15F. The winds will be light and variable.
Rawalakot:
In Rawalakot the weather is sparsely cloudy with sunshine, with a high of 57F. The winds are WSW at 5 to 10 mph. For the night generally clear sky with a low 29F can be expected. The winds will be light and variable.
Bagh:
Bagh faces sunny and partly cloudy weather which is also hazy, with a high of 61F. The winds are WSW at 5 to 10 mph. The night sky is expected to be generally clear, with a low of 38F. The winds are ESE at 5 to 10 mph.
Kotli:
The weather in Kotli is hazy with abundant sunshine and a high of 72F. The winds are W at 10 to 15 mph. During the night the weather will be clear to partly cloudy and hazy with a low of 42F. The winds will be light and variable.
