Azad Kashmir elections will be held on time, says Minister Zafar Iqbal Malik

KOTLI (Kashmir English): Minister Zafar Iqbal Malik stated today, in Kotli, Tatta Pani, that there will be no early Azad Kashmir elections and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to Kashmir’s freedom.

Minister for Higher Education, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Zafar Iqbal Malik, has stated that there is no possibility of early elections in AJK, and they will be held as scheduled. He emphasised that the government will present its performance before the public at the right time and is confident of success.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, efforts to fulfil governmental responsibilities will continue, with the struggle for Kashmir’s freedom remaining a top priority. He reiterated that the Prime Minister is committed to taking the issue of Kashmir to its conclusion.

From his home location, Minister Zafar Iqbal Malik addressed media groups and public groups about the need to rely on diplomatic measures for Kashmir settlement. According to his statement, the diplomatic solutions will work until such time that Kashmiris exercise self-determination through their means to gain their independence.

Minister Zafar Iqbal Malik expressed a strong belief that independence would soon be achieved by the people of Kashmir.

The minister specifically mentioned his US tour was entirely funded by his penances since government financial resources did not contribute. He utilized his visit to address Kashmiri issues in different international venues. Malik showed appreciation to both Pakistani and Kashmiri Americans who gave welcoming support to his visit to the U.S.

In response to political criticisms, Malik declared that his opponents expressed bitter jealousy toward him. He declared these invalid accusations stem from their inner emotions of insecurity which do not impact either his job performance or his politics.

Malik reported that Raj Mahal has seen extensive development through the establishment of an extensive network of infrastructure. A new education package will follow after completing the successful implementation of the health package. He celebrated the outcome of the elections from 2021 as the reason why hereditary politics disintegrated in the region.

The people of Raj Mahal should maintain their unity because no power exists to stop their ongoing advancement according to the leader’s encouragement. The government remains dedicated to removing underdevelopment from the region and maintains its continued pursuit of this objective.
