DOHA (Kashmir English): Pakistan Shaheens defeated the India A team in the Asia Cup Rising Stars to qualify for the semi-finals.
In the group match played in the capital of Qatar, Doha, Pakistan Shaheens won the toss and decided to field first.
India A team was dismissed for 136 runs in 19 overs while batting first. For India A, Vaibhav scored 45 runs, and Naman Dhir scored 35 runs. The last 8 wickets of India A could only add 45 runs to the score.
For Pakistan Shaheens, Shahid Aziz took 3 wickets for 24 runs. Moaz Sadaqat and Saad Masood took two wickets each. Sufyan Muqeem, Obaid Shah, and Ahmed Daniyal took one wicket each.
Pakistan achieved the target of 137 runs in the 14th over, with Maaz Sadaqat scoring 79 runs.
For India, Suyash and Yash took one wicket each.
Earlier, in the first match, Pakistan defeated Oman by 40 runs to register their first win in the tournament.
