NEW DELHI (Kashmir English): Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan revealed during a recent episode of the popular TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 18’ (KBC) that he had injured his knee after falling during the shoot.
At the start of the program, Amitabh Bachchan informed the audience about his injury, explaining that his foot had suddenly slipped during the previous day’s recording, causing him to fall. Pointing to his left knee, the actor indicated that this was where he had sustained the injury.
Following Amitabh Bachchan’s disclosure, the audience present at the show appeared concerned about his health. Typically, the actor stands while delivering the opening monologue of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’; however, due to the knee injury, he presented this segment while seated on this occasion.
The actor mentioned that standing for extended periods was proving difficult due to the injured knee, which is why he decided to conduct the opening conversation while seated.
However, Amitabh Bachchan clarified that the injury was not serious and that he would continue hosting the show. He noted that he would need to stand while interacting with the contestants during the program, and he was prepared to do so.
