ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The authorities have issued traffic diversion plan for commuters on the occasion of Al-Quds rally in the federal capital.
Citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel and use alternative routes.
The rally will start at 09:00 AM from Imambargah G-6/2. There will be traffic diversion at Kulsoom Plaza on the Fazal-ul-Haq Road, and citizens may use Jinnah Avenue, while residents of F-6 and F-7 may use Polyclinic Road.
Islamabad traffic diversions
There will be diversion for traffic coming from Luqman Hakeem Road, Street No. 14, and citizens may use G-6 Municipal Road and Saddar Road.
Traffic diversion will also be at CDA Hospital Imambargah G-6/2, while commuters may use G-6 Saddar Road and 7th Avenue.
To avoid traffic diversion at Polyclinic Quarters Chowk Luqman Hakeem Road, citizens may head towards G-6 Municipal Road, Saddar Road and 7th Avenue.
There would be another diversion at China Chowk Fazal-ul-Haq Road, and citizens may use F-6 Service Road and Shaheed-e-Millat Road.
Shaheed-e-Millat Road has been designated as an alternative route for traffic coming from Fazal-ul-Haq Road.
No vehicle or motorcycle will be allowed to park in front of the new and old emergency of Polyclinic.
