AJK: Progress made in construction of Danish School in Sharda

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The tenders for the construction of a Danish School in Neelum District of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be opened tomorrow.

It is in line with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s promise for the construction of a Danish School in the area.

According to media reports, the Ministry of Federal Education has stated that tenders for the school project will be opened tomorrow, October 21, 2025.

Over Rs 1.82 billion will be spent on the construction of Danish School in Neelum District.

According to the Ministry, it had invited sealed bids from PEC-approved contractors for the project.

Tender documents based on 7 conditions were issued for the construction of Danish School in Sharda. The Project Management Unit initiated the tendering process under the Ministry of Education.

The project, named Sharda Danish School, will prove to be an important step towards quality education.

Danish Schools in AJK

It is worth noting that Shahbaz Sharif has gifted Danish Schools to all three divisions of Azad Kashmir. Danish School projects in Bhimber and Bagh districts are nearing completion.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had laid the foundation stone of Danish School in Bhimber.

It is worth noting that the federal government had allocated funds for Danish Schools in the budget, and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also provided a special package of Rs5 billion for Kashmir.
