Barrister Sultan said the continuous struggle for the success of the Kashmir freedom movement has been the center and aim of his politics since day one.

Referring to his latest trip to Britain and the USA, the AJK President asserted that he successfully presented the Kashmir case before the global community and exposed Indian brutalities in the region.

He hoped that the Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle would succeed soon and the region will be free from Indian occupation.

Reiterating his commitment to serve the people of Mirpur, the President said that his election promise to complete the Rathoa Haryam Bridge was about to be fulfilled.

He said that construction on the Haryam Bridge is currently underway and that the project will soon be completed and accessible to the public.

Additionally, he noted that the construction of a parking plaza in the city has been successfully completed. He remarked that the demand for establishment of an international airport in Mirpur has significantly grown with the passage of time, adding that collaborative efforts were required to translate this vision into action.

“Twenty members of the British Parliament, in their joint communication, have also demanded establishment of an international level airport in Mirpur,” the President said.

He also voiced his backing for the public demonstration planned in Britain on April 13, aimed at advocating for the fulfillment of demands for the creation of an international airport in Mirpur.
