MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Minister Transport Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Javed Butt called on President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry and apprised the latter about the problems being faced by Kashmiri refugees residing in different parts of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, the President assured the minister of his all-out support and cooperation to address the issues faced by the migrant community.

“Taking care of the migrant community and solving their day-to-day problems is our shared responsibility,” he said, adding welfare of migrants remains a top priority for the AJK government.
Barrister Chaudhry further said that all available resources would be utilized to address refugees’ grievances.
Recalling his tenure as Prime Minister AJK, Barrister Chaudhry said that it was during his previous government that special funds were allocated in the budget to support the refugee community.
