MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Faisal Mumtaz Rathore laid a wreath at the Jammu and Kashmir Monument in Chhattar, Muzaffarabad, on the occasion of Pakistan’s 80th Independence Day.
According to the statement issued by the DGPR AJK, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Murree was also present. Both paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs at the memorial.
A salute was also presented by the Pakistan Army contingent at the Martyrs’ Memorial during the ceremony. Senior civil and military officials were also present on the occasion.
