MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Large-scale high-level transfers and appointments have been made in the Azad Kashmir government at the administrative level, under which the departments of several secretaries have been changed.
An official notification has also been issued by the government regarding this administrative reshuffle.
The government has decided to transfer officers to improve the government and administrative affairs of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Under this high-level reshuffle, new responsibilities have been assigned to the secretaries of various departments so that administrative matters can be made more efficient, and according to the notification, all officers will immediately take charge of their new departments.
New appointment of Syed Shahid Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
According to the notification and orders issued by the administration, Syed Shahid Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has been appointed to the most important post of Secretary Physical Planning and Housing.
Syed Shahid Mohi-ud-Din Qadri will now perform all his duties as Secretary in the Physical Planning and Housing Department and will fully supervise the day-to-day administrative affairs of this important department.
In addition, during these important changes made at the administrative level, Chaudhry Muhammad Shahid Ayub has been appointed as Secretary Food, where he will handle the administrative affairs of the Food Department.
Along with him, Javed-ul-Hassan Javed has also been assigned a new responsibility and has been appointed as Secretary, Presidential Affairs, who will now ensure the discharge of his duties as Secretary in the Presidential Affairs Department.
Transfers in the Education and Sports Sectors
More important appointments have also been added to the list of these transfers at the highest level, according to which Ansar Yaqoob has been entrusted with the crucial responsibility of Secretary Higher Education, and he will now work as Secretary Higher Education.
Along with him, Adnan Khurshid has also been given a new administrative posting and has been appointed as Secretary Sports so that he can run all the affairs of the sports department regularly.
After this official notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department of the Government of Azad Kashmir, all the concerned officers are ready to assume their new duties, and these transfers are expected to bring significant improvement in the administrative performance of the government.
