MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Advance polling for government employees performing election duty in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly General Elections 2026 is continuing smoothly across Muzaffarabad, with special polling stations established to facilitate eligible voters.

The Election Commission has completed arrangements to ensure a peaceful, transparent and orderly electoral process. The advance voting facility has been provided to government employees who will be on official election duty on polling day, enabling them to exercise their right to vote in advance.

Constituency-wise polling centres have been established for LA-27 to LA-31, where registered government employees are casting their ballots under strict security and election regulations.

Location of Polling Centers

The polling centres have been set up at the following locations:
LA-27: University Campus Chehla
LA-28: Postgraduate College for Boys, Eidgah Road
LA-29: Higher Secondary School Sohili Sarkar
LA-30: Boys High School Narol
LA-31: Ali Akbar Awan High School, Upper Chhattar

Election officials said the advance polling process is progressing peacefully and efficiently, ensuring that no government employee on election duty is deprived of the opportunity to vote.

The Election Commission has reiterated its commitment to conducting free, fair and transparent elections across Azad Jammu and Kashmir, with all necessary arrangements in place for the smooth completion of the electoral process.
