MUZAFFARABAD: Students from various educational institutions across Azad Jammu and Kashmir visited the Line of Control (LoC) as part of the “A Day with the Pakistan Army” program.
During the visit, the students spent time with Pakistan Army personnel deployed along the LoC and observed various activities carried out by the soldiers. They were also allowed to see weapons and defense equipment used by the Pakistan Army.
The students were briefed on the professional routines, responsibilities and defense duties of soldiers serving along the LoC. Special awareness and introductory sessions were also conducted on the Pakistan Army’s professional capabilities, national defense and other related matters.
The students showed keen interest in the briefings and expressed happiness at seeing the weapons and defense equipment up close. They described the program as a unique, informative, and memorable experience.
The students said the initiative provided them with an opportunity to gain a practical understanding of the life, professional responsibilities, and national defense duties of Pakistan Army personnel.
They also paid tribute to the services of the Pakistan Army and the sacrifices made by its personnel in the defense of the country.
