JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): Students of the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), Jhelum Valley Campus, staged a powerful protest against Indian aggression on the Srinagar Highway. Hundreds of students participated, raising slogans against the Indian military’s brutal actions in Illegally Occupied Kashmir.
The protest arose because Indian security forces continued to kill defenceless civilians and destroy Kashmiri residences in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The protesters directed their anger against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to the oppressive policies of his government.
At the protest against Indian aggression, participants displayed placards and banners while expressing their entire hearted backing for the Pakistan Armed Forces. Every front of the military received support from people who declared their willingness to stand alongside military forces. Demonstrators united their voices to show defiance toward oppression through this strong collective demonstration.
Addressing the students, the Director of the Jhelum Valley Campus, Dr Imtiaz Awan, stated that India has consistently tried to silence Kashmiri Muslims through violence and cruelty, but the courage of the Kashmiri people remains unbroken. He added that the Pakistan Army is not only the defender of the nation but also a symbol of hope for the oppressed people of Kashmir.
Assistant Commissioner Kamran Khan was also present at the protests against Indian aggression, showing solidarity with the students and Kashmiris.
Dr Awan further remarked that protest against Indian aggression is not just a reaction but a reflection of Kashmiris’ enduring spirit of freedom. “India’s cowardly actions can never suppress the determination of the Kashmiri people,” he said. “The day is not far when they will witness the dawn of freedom.”
He urged students to remain focused on their education while also strengthening their national consciousness, so they can contribute to the fight against injustice in every arena.
