MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): India’s claim of killing two alleged infiltrators in the Sarjeewar area along the Line of Control (LoC) turned out to be false and fabricated.

Indian media reported that the Indian army had killed two militants and foiled their bid to infiltrate into Indian occupied Kashmir on April 23 in the Uri sector.

However, sources said that India’s false claim regarding the incident was a deliberate attempt to spread a fabricated narrative.

As per details, the two persons who are declared as infiltrators, been identified as locals.

“Malik Farooq, son of Siddique, and Muhammad Deen, son of Jamaluddin, were citizens of Sarjeewar village.”

According to the reliable sources within India, there are serious discrepancies in the time sequence, ground facts, and the released photographic evidence of the incident.

The relatives of the killed persons had reported them missing on the morning of April 22. The disappearance of these persons proved that they had disappeared before any possible infiltration, sources added.

The photographs shared by sources refute India’s position. The body of one of the deceased is seen in the picture with clean, shiny black shoes.

This body cannot be that of an infiltrator who had crossed the difficult mountain path, sources added. The clothes of the killed person are also surprisingly clean, as there were no traces of dirt or blood on his weapon.

In addition, there are no signs of any fight at the scene, sources said.

Similarly, the second body does not have any kind of load bearer, extra ammunition, water bottle, or any other military equipment. If he were an infiltrator, he would never have moved in such an immature and unprotected state, sources said.

One person has only a pistol, which is not consistent with any military strategy of infiltration, according to sources.

Statements from local people and the affected families further reinforce the fact that both of these people were peaceful civilians.

Moreover, the deceased has no connection with any military or illegal activity, sources said.

Indian forces brutally killed them and made it look like a false flag operation. The international community should take strict notice of this grave violation of human rights
