KOTLI (Kashmir English): The funeral prayers of the late Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Kashmir and former President of District Bar Association Kotli Chaudhry Mahmood-ul-Hasan Advocate was offered here at Sardar Sikandar Hayat Stadium on Monday.
The funeral prayers were attended by politicians, civil society representatives, political activists, traders, local government representatives as well as a large number of JI activists and leaders.

Speaking briefly on the occasion, the incumbent JI chief Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq, Minister for Rehabilitation Javed Iqbal Badhanvi, Minister for Higher Education Zafar Iqbal Malik, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Raja Muhammad Sadaqat Khan, and others paid eulogizing tributes to the religious and political services of Chaudhry Mahmood ul Hassan.

The speakers said that Chaudhry Mahmood-ul-Hassan was a highly knowledgeable person who will be always remembered for his significant contribution to the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement, selfless services for uplift of society particularly the underprivileged sections of society.
