LAHORE (Kashmir English): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will identify and honor prominent individuals who have been nominated by cricket enthusiasts under its “Hamaray Heroes” program during the HBL Pakistan Super League X (PSL X).
Pakistan Super League X (PSL X) is to be held from April 11 to May 18, 2025.
Fans can nominate applicants through a form up to April 9, 3 pm. A list of 34 nominees will be shortlisted by a PCB committee, which will get cash rewards during PSL X matches.
Their tales will be highlighted in PSL digital handles, documentaries, and match-day live broadcasts.
The effort is intended to recognize people from different walks of life, such as sports, education, medicine, art, culture, music, social welfare, and technology, who have helped improve the image of Pakistan.
Prominent figures nominated for the category are Ahmad Baig (golfer), Ahsan Ayyaz (squash player and philanthropist), Dr. Jawaid Qamar (cosmologist), Dr. Mariam Sultana (astrophysicist), Farah Vohra (Special Olympian), Maham Tariq (cycling coach), Perniya Zaman Khan (table tennis player), and Wardah Ghani (animal rescue foundation co-founder).
This campaign exhibits the PCB’s dedication to identifying unsung heroes and honoring their accomplishments.
