LEEPA VALLEY (Kashmir English): Leepa Valley hosted Pakistan Day celebrations with patriotic performances, sports matches, and a military band, where local dignitaries, students, and civil society gathered to honour the occasion.

Khairati Bagh Ground in Leepa Valley Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) hosted a magnificent and lively Pakistan Day celebration on the evening of March 23rd. Numerous dignitaries joined members of civil society as well as local representatives lawyers and journalists and students at the occasion.

People from the audience strongly praised the captivating music performed by the military band during the multiple colourful shows at the event. Shining decorative lights throughout the ground made it even more beautiful while the stage received elegant decorations. The area displayed flags of both Pakistan and Azad Kashmir while patriotic songs and national spirit caused the environment to become energetic.

The celebrations grew more thrilling through organized cricket and volleyball matches which took place as part of the event schedule. The winning teams received awards that increased both spectator and participant stamina during the event.

Members of the audience heard passionate talks that focused on the importance of Pakistan Day while expressing respect for those who fought for national independence. During the occasion, the Pakistan Army established a medical station to provide free treatment for everyone present at the celebrations.

Despite the intense cold, the public’s enthusiasm remained at its peak. A large marquee was set up, creating a magnificent view where patriotic fervour dominated the atmosphere.

Some participants shared their thoughts with Kashmir Digital, emphasising the importance of Pakistan Day and appreciating the successful organisation of the event. The ceremony concluded with resounding chants in support of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, making it a truly historic occasion.
