The system outage will not allow any users to log in to their accounts and transact funds through the mobile app, but Easypaisa has assured that once all issue get resolved, they will keep the users updated about the service.

Elsewhere, it is being said that the sale of a controlling stake in Easypaisa Bank by Norwegian firm Telenor ASA is currently being explored by the bank. This sale, if materialized, will mark the full withdrawal of Telenor from Pakistan, where it has operated for more than two decades.
