ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has convened an important meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Azad Kashmir Parliamentary Party at Zardari House in Islamabad today to review the prevailing political situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
According to the party sources, the meeting will focus on recent developments in AJK and possible future political and administrative measures. Several important decisions are expected in the meeting.
Sources further indicated that the party leadership is closely monitoring the situation and maintains that violence against the people of AJK should not be supported under any circumstances.
