WASHINGTON (Kashmir English): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a bilateral meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington D.C., where both sides discussed Pakistan-US relations and key regional and global developments.
During the meeting, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in bilateral ties and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
Secretary Rubio acknowledged Pakistan’s sincere diplomatic and mediatory efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
The two sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade and investment, security, and counter-terrorism.
Both leaders also agreed to advance the Pakistan-US partnership through continued high-level engagements and shared efforts for regional peace, security, and prosperity.
