Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz discharged from hospital after successful throat surgery

LAHORE (Kashmir English): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has been discharged from Sharif Medical City Hospital and transferred home after successful throat surgery.

According to reports, her condition is improving. Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb stated in her message on the social media website X that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz continued to directly monitor security, cleanliness, and other administrative matters in the province from the hospital even on Eid-ul-Adha.

Maryam Nawaz underwent major surgery

According to Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Punjab Chief Minister underwent major surgery at Sharif Medical City Hospital, which remained successful, after which she was transferred home.

According to Pakistan Muslim League-N sources, Maryam Nawaz Sharif was suffering from severe throat pain, due to which doctors recommended surgery.

Sources said that after the surgery, the Punjab Chief Minister’s health is better and doctors have advised her to rest.
