DHAKA (Kashmir English): Babar Azam and some other players have reached Bangladesh ahead of the two-match Pakistan vs Bangladesh Test series starting May 8.
According to details, fast bowler Khurram Shahzad and members of the supporting staff have also arrived in the country for the tour. Earlier on Monday, players who had already reached Bangladesh took part in a training session in preparation for the series.
The Pakistani players held their first practice session of the tour at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.
They engaged in batting and bowling net practice during the session. They also took part in physical drills and a fielding session.
Pakistan and Bangladesh are set to compete in a two-match Test series beginning May 8, 2026.
The series is part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025–27 cycle.
The Pakistan squad, captained by Shan Masood, arrived in Dhaka on May 3, 2026, and began training sessions at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
